  1. Yes, anyone can play the guitar. I was 17 when I started to learn to play the acoustic guitar, and it took me only about 3 months to get used to it. Now, I can easily play loads of pop songs. I have quite small hands, too. Don't worry, if you get a guitar teacher, he'll be able to tell you what size guitar you should get, some stores help, too. So just get a guitar that suits your size and enjoy learning! Might be a bit hard at first, but trust me, it's worth it. Good luck! :)

  2. all my friends said their hands were too small... so i put mine up to theirs and they were the same! haha! and i can play electric guitar fine!

classic guitar... i played one for like a month but i got sick of it and bought a electric.

    P.S. i started at 14!!!! im 15 now and i rock!!

you can get cheap guitars at a pawn shop but some of the budget priced electric dean guitars are really good.

P.S.P.S. you can play an electric guitar with out  distortion and it will sound like and acustic!

    hope i helped =)

  3. It's not too late at 14, no.

If you have tiny hands you can get smaller guitars- don't worry, they're not super-small baby guitars, just sort of 80% size so easier on smaller hands.

  4. Sure, when I was just eight years old, I played the acoustic guitar my hands are small, so I'm sure you can! You don't need that big of hands to play the guitar. :-)

  5. ofcurse its not late

  6. I was given a full size acoustic guitar and I'm finding it kinda difficult to play, my hands are small too! ;) I'm waiting for my fingers to stretch! :D

It's never too late to take up the guitar, or any instrument.

Go into a local instrument & music shop and ask them to advise you on what guitars are best for beginners - they might even have special packs and stuff. Handle a few guitars to get a feel for them first, and hear the sound. You'll know what feels right for you.

  7. They do make different sizes, but you'll mainly only find the one's intented for adults and older teens. Search online. Like...okay, I know this sounds like stupid right, but like...

Toys r us. They have some that actually work that are smaller. So...really, check there. There not like fancy or as high quality, but I had one from there that my parents got for my birthday or something. It still works. I doubt the idea of buying a guitar from toys 'r' u is appealing to you, but ... whatever.

  8. The quality of even quite cheap instruments is surprisingly good these days... Consider a 3/4 size guitar. Look for a Yamaha - they have good set up and play easily. There are so many to choose from and they are all mostly good. Have a look at - www.hobgoblin.com - they sell loads and do a good mail order service. 14 is an ideal age to start playing. Have fun... xx
