  1. No, someone put a ceiling in the way.


  2. Years ago this was known as an attic fan. Yes it works very well. Heat likes to rise, so a little help from the power vent  will make a vaccume in the house, causing the windows to pull in cool air at night .. Energy is not cheap any more, time to do what our grand parents did.
