I have small veins and often have a hard time giving blood. ?

Any suggestions on what I can do to make my veins stand out more? I have tried drinking water but it doesn't always work.

I'm the same way, so they have to use a Pediatric needle on me. That's usually the only way to get blood out of me, and it works :-)

Exercise. Jog a little, or do some strenght training. The muscles will pump your veins with more blood, and push them closer to the surface.

apply a heat pack for a while just prior to them sticking you. also having your arm hanging down to increase blood flow helps.
