  1. Go to the zoo! Or an aquarium!

    Or go to the local garden centre and pretend to have a hayyuge garden with fish in a pond!

    ... Or is that just what I do?


  2. You can do my ironing and take my dog out for a long walk if your that fed up.

  3. Define and develop your interests.  Why not go to the local animal shelter and offer to help?  That would be a very meaningful way to invest yourself.

    You'll spend some of your time and earn money to spend when you're not working.

  11. plan your days - I am unemployed and a student on holiday at the minute so I have the same problem. Keep busy by shopping. cooking, messing on the net, reading, meeting friends and relatives, do something you always wanted to do
