I have sole legal and sole physical custody with no visitation declared.?

Does my ex-husband have any rights? Can I take her out of the country w/o him knowing for vacation? What would he have to do to change the custody arangement?

  1. You have gone to  court to get sole custody?

    If so the child is yours, the question is why wasn't he given visitation?

    You might want to just call an attorney it would be confidential.


  2. He would have to petition the court - most likely he would be able to get joint legal custody but you'd maintain sole physical custody since your child lives with you. If you have sole legal custody of the child you can take them where ever you want - the legal custody is what keeps you from taking your kids out of the state without notifying the court.

  3. no, he has no rights. You can take her anywhere you want. To change this he would have to go back to court.
