Hello friends,

I had some doughts abt the class 1 medical test.

im 22 nw and i am from kerala. I just completed my Btech Degree and now i like to get a CPL because i like to be a commercial pilot.

I like to join a school in philippines or US. i read they are providing the best training. Money is not a big factor for me currently.

But the main problem is that i met with an accident 3yrs before and i had a broken leg. It was a major surgery and i had steel rods still in my right leg(Evn though my doc said it can be removed by the end of this year). But i can do all the things an ordinary man can do now( like running, walking, jumping etc). But i am concerned about getting through the Class 1 medical tests. All other things are perfect like eye sight, heart beat, bp, etc. Also i like to know wheter thier is any hight-weight ratio we should maintain to get thru.

Please tell me whether i can ever be a pilot. if yes it would be great to hear about some schools also.

Regards,

Anu.

  1. If the fracture and injuries have healed completely and there are no after affects of the surgery, you should not have any problems. The leg should be fully capable of performing as it was before your accident. There are many pilots who have cleared their medicals inspite of similar injuries which healed up subsequently.
