Depends on which birds they're from. If they're from wild birds, I'd try to be sure they aren't fertile. If they're from birds of prey (eagle, hawk, etc.) I'd check for the same thing, and make sure you're safely away from the nest when mamma returns. If they're from farm birds, I'd ask the chickens/ducks/turkeys/geese why they're so old when they laid them.

Well since you are in "birds", I would say NO...LET mama sit on them to hatch them.
