  1. It may help to make your gums and teeth to be healthy but does not replace the good oral hygiene (brushing and flossing). This info is on the gum wrapper so the company can sell more product and the info is not necessarily one hundred percent correct. Keep chewing it won't hurt you, but don't forget to brush.

  2. Some new gums have an ingredient  in them called Xylitol.  It has been proven that xylitol (which is a sugar alcohol derivative)  is able to prevent the bacteria found on the teeth from respiring.  This means that they cannot produce acid as the glycolytic chain is disrupted.  This basically means the bacteria cannot attack your teeth. So they are less likely to rot. so its better than nothing,... BUT this doesn't mean you can stop brushing your teeth as you still need to clean away food debris that bacteria could use at a later stage to attack your teeth.  Plus too much xylitol is believed to have some side effects, mainly diarrhea, which isn't brilliant. and chewing three times a day is fine. Its more when people have packet after packet, which can supposedly lead to stomach ulcers.

  3. No lol don't be lazy.....

Well you can have your gum....it's just for taste after all, the rest is a gimmick.Brush twice a day....not much to ask for, your teeth do so much more for you.
