Hi. Im 15 and I have some insecurities about myself..and its pretty hard for me. can you try to answer at least one of my questions?

1. I have big, kinda stuck out ears, I dance and for shows we have to wear our hair in a bun, and on show DVD's i look terrible, i have a big forehead which makes my ears look worse. I also got called dumbo at school by a stranger when i used to wear my hair up, so now i wear my hair over my ears and avoid anyone seeing them. Is there anything i can have done to make them less stuck out?

2. I have blackheads on my nose, and i try my best to get rid of them, when i dont wear foundation over it i feel like instead of looking in my eyes while talking to me, they look at my nose. Ive tried everything, and i wash my face properly everyday, i am clean. How can i get rid of them?

3. This isnt an insecurity, just a question i thought i'd ask. My hair is quite fine, do you have any methods or treatments to make it thicker?

I know i should be happy with who i am, but its hard when I dance because it feels like if your not right you wont be accepted...i also want to train at a dance school, and i dont want my ears to hold me back.

Thanks for your help!!

:)

  1. same problems. lol.

    except the dancing thing.

    oh, and the hair.

    my hair is THICK.

  2. You can have an operation to get your ears pinned back.

You can buy stuff like sellotape to remove blackheads. Ask the pharmacist.

You have thin hair, better to deal with it because nothing will make it thicker.

I'm short, fat and ugly so we aren't all blessed with model bodies.

  3. well i have a big nose and that really gets me sometimes

but everybody says they dont notice it

i guess we all have insecurites.

    well w/e

    for blackheads try nosestrips

ive tried the ones from biore' but they dont work really well

theres also the olay ones that work fantastic but  unfortunatly i forgot the name brand :[

my hair is also thin and fine

i use a clarrifying shampoo becasue it tends to get oily

and if your worried about your ears, just know some of the prettiest people in the world have dumbo ears

and then think of people who like dont have ears and have midget ears, they prob pray for ears like yours

just put lots of volume on top and you couldnt tell what  hair type it is. my friends always are telling me how lucky i am to have thin hair because its not much matinence but sometimes i feel like its MORE!!

    haha

    well hope i helped

    btw im 15 too!!

    go sophomores

  4. i have some ideas :)

ok soulution to 1, AND 3 get a different shorter bob like haircut..something so that u wont have to put it in a bun.. an dit will cover your ears, and if u get layers your hair will look thicker expecially if it is shorter

^-see adorable! and looks full, and ears covered :)

and for 2...get some black head strips...or expholiate with a sugar scrub :)

    good luck hon

    ive got blackheads too :P

  5. Most people this kind of age have insecurities with the way they look I'm around your age too and it happens to everyone

Just focus on the good things like that your a really good dancer and when your dancing on the stage everyone is watching how good you are at dancing not your ears it's only you that is worrying about your ears so you think everyone else is concentrating on them.

If people say nasty things about your ears then walk on like you don't care be confident then people will realise your happy with yourself and won't look at your ears they'll just think your a cool and confident person. Don't worry everyone hates something about themself so you'll be fine.

I get blackheads too they are anoying you can get blackhead face cleansers or you could try black head nose strips. But again no one looks at your blackheads they won't be that visible to people.

Drink lots of water or buy beauty water from morrisons or tescos to which has lactoferrin it to fight bacterria and will stop the blackheads turning into spots then your blackheads will be gone.

Also you could try different shampoos to see if theres any for fine hair but I'm not too sure drinking lots of water could help and ttake tables for hair that will really help. Also calcium is good for your hair so drink alot of milk and generally eat foods with calcium in.

Hope I've helped with all your problems and I hope they are soon resolved......x

  6. Focus on the good stuff.

  7. You will grow out of it! At least your lucky enough to not have acne which a lot of teens get!

  8. 1. Nope, don't worry about it. They make you unique. Seriously, don't listen to what people say. In 30 years they're gonna regret it.

    2. Got the same problem. Nothing works! Ughh. I use Noxema blackhead scrubber and it works fairly well. They will probably never be completely gone, but if you want to get rid of them for the time being invest in a really good facial masque from either Ulta or Sephora. This may cost around $50-$100.

    3. Try using a thickening mousse and blow-drying it. Wearing your hair curly makes it look a lot fuller. Straight hair is not a good answer if you have thin hair.

Don't worry about what other people think. SERIOUSLY. They need to cut on everyone else to make themselves feel better. Knowing you're the better person should make you feel amazing. The "popular" people are the ones that everyone hates. Just be yourself and don't worry about your appearance. Chances are you will be 20x more gorgeous than them when you are older.

  9. For the hair you could go to doc's or pharmacy and ask for hair supplements.

You could also wear extentions to make the appearance of your hair thicker. x
