I have some major sleep probs.

See i will be really tired falling asleep doing whatever like on the phone and all but as soon as i get into bed to sleep im wired and i stay up till around 4 am every night. then i wake up at six and dont sleep the rest of the day then im tired that night so i go to get in bed and im wide awake and finally fall asleep and then wake up aroun noon or later......with the school year starting next week im hoping for some sleep so what should i do......mush keeps me awake......i hate the taste of hot milk......and im 13 so im not sure if sleep aids are an option....

  1. I would suggest doing some activity (when you can't go to sleep) that uses a moderate amount of brain activity. The reason that you need sleep is because your brain needs to repair itself after a long day. Also make sure that your bedroom is completely dark and that it is silent. If you still have problems, talk to your parents about this and they could talk to your doctor.


  2. Just discipline yourself to get up early every day no matter how much sleep you get the night before and by nightfall you will be ready to sleep. Establish a regular pattern in your sleeping. Ask your parents to help you with this. I am suprised that they are not regulating your sleeping hours for you at your age. Stop watching TV to all hours of the night and don't use the computer too much before bed. Your mind will be racing with all that input. It is a matter of discipline. Set your alarm and abide by the plan.

  3. have you tried taking a hot bath or try exercising before bed to  make you sleepy.

  4. Mother nature gave men the best sleeping pill.  All you have to do is ejaculate.
