I have some pain splotches on orignal hardwood floors i've tried goo gone etc and it doesn't work?

we are putting our house on the market and i'm trying to save money, is there anything else i can try short of resanding the floor and refinishing it. and how much is refinishing? i have half a double bottom floor...9x12 and17x9

  1. If the goo gone, goof-off, etc,  hasn't worked you could give lacquer thinner a try depending on what finish is presently on your floors.

    A hardwood refinishing company would be your best bet. They might even be able to remove the paint,  buff and recoat your flooring, saving you the cost of a complete sand and refinish.

    Call some hardwood floor refinishing companies in your area. The estimates are almost always free, with no obligation. They can be found in your local Yellow Pages under "Floors - Refinishing". I would look for an established company that has been in business in your area for many years to avoid potential problems.

  2. dont listen to them put lighter fluid and vinigar let it soak for like 3 minutes then wipe it away... works like a charm
