And we want to let them go. The wings have not been clipped and they can fly.

Plus, I've seen other parakeets flying around here sometimes.

Is it ok to let them go?

  1. i dont think you should do that. they were bred to be domestic pets and therefore they should stay that way. they dont belong in the wild. try bringing them to an animal shelter, a friend or your local pet store-just dont let them go

  2. I wouldn't do that. Why don't you give them to someone instead?

  3. No it really isnt ok but nothing we can do to stop you. They will simply go join the flock out there. If they dont get killed first.

  4. i wouldnt recommend that. just give them away

  5. No, that is really bad. Pet parakeets don't know how to survive because they are used to you giving them everything they need. If you let them go they will not join the flock, they will simply die from lack of food, water, and shelter. Give them to a pet shop or someone who wants birds. Be responsible and don't just take the easy way of getting rid of them.

  6. nope they wont surive, thye dont know how to search out food and find water

just give them away or sell to pet shop

  7. * Other birds will kill them I have seen some around here, Ask people near you or the pet store if they want them, If you live in the Los Angeles area we would take them.
