I have some questions about having my domain from Yahoo!.?

Question

1. Am I allowed to add things like adds from google to get money?

2. Do I need to get the web hosting as well to have multiple sites on my page or is there another way. If there is, how?

3. Can they cancel the account at any time?

4. I signed up for the $1.99 deal, are there any other charges, such as a monthly fee or anything of that nature?

You  can cancel at anytime, but most of the time you pay yearly instead of monthly. Are you sure its 1.99? If so, that is probably a monthly fee not yearly. Yes, you can add things like adds from google to make money.

2. You will need hosting, on top of a domain, to have any type of page.

3. You can, but domains are good gernerally for a year from purchase.

4. Recurring yearly fee of about 10 bucks a year for Domains

The domain name fee is usually by the year, the web hosting can be paid monthly or yearly and no they will not cancel unless you do not pay for services. Yes you can add pay sites and just about any thing you wish to your pages and site.

You need a web site to use a domain name.

For instance, I have a forum with InvisionFree and I didn't want to use the IF addy, so I bought a domain name from Yahoo and used it to mask the IF addy.

Yahoo has some good, inexpensive web hosting plans.  I have about 80 pages plus

600 -/+ pages of enlargements of each pic on my 8 or 9 galleries.  Costs me $11.99 plus tax each month, and I can put google ads on and a pull down menue.  And you don't have to buy a domain name, you get one free.
