  1. all the answers are herehttp://www.leopardgecko.com/leopardgecko... enjoy this guy is the AUTHORITY on leopard geckos and only sells the best!

  2. 1)Leos are actually pretty tame expecially if oyu handle a youngster. Short seesions of handling 3  or 4 times daily will make the leo respond much better to handling and it won't sqirm or jump as much sice they are by nature a little squirmy.

    2) For young juveniles its best to feed everyday, being sure to feed good quality gutloaded and supplement crickets(about 6 crickets) daily. Commercial gutload diet by flukers is available for $5 here and the cricket quencher is the same price at petco. I fid these are pretty inexpensive and they are great if you don't want to put the effort of creating gutload for the crickets yourself. You may also feed other prey items such as waxwoms(very fattening),silkworms, phoenix worms, and mealworms(but i personally refrains form feeding them because the chitin in their shell is hard to digest. The prey should be supplemented with with pure calcium 5 times a week for juveniles and 3 times a week for subadults to adult leos. On the remaining two days, dust the prey with a multivitamin supplement but be careful not to use the multivitamin supplement on the same day as the pure calcium supplement. Its also good to leave a small milk cap full of pure calcium powder in the cage at all times just in case your leo wants to lap some up. When choosing prey items make sure the prey is  as long as the leos head is or smaller and make sure that the width of the prey is half thw width of the leos head. Use this measure to purchase the appropraite sized prey items.

    3) Leos, that is normal leos normally reach lengths of 6-8 inches but breeder have been able to increase the size of the leo to almost a foot in the giant mutations.. One well known example of a giant was Moose, who was bred by Ron Tremper.

    4) A single leo, whether male or female can be housed ina 10 gallon aqaurium or terrarium with a sturdy ventilated screen lid. Though I highly reccomend you bum it up to 20 gallons as this will give him or her planty or room to grow out and explore and give you room to furnish the tank with necessary hides and heating equipment.

    5) Likely Cost

LEOS: $20- $3000 depending on what morph or variety you get though a standard high yellow morph from a good breeder will cost about $20-$40.

Cage: 10 gallon will be around maybe $10-20$ I ve seen them available at walmart without a lid for $10(10 gallon that is)

Heating: best method for heating would be a heat mat place under a quarter of the tank. This will allow thermo regulation and will prevent heat stress. They usually cost $20-$40 depnding on size and extra fixtures. The heat would be around 85-90 degrees in the basking area and around 75 degrees on cool side. The temp in the tank can drop to 65 degrees at night.

Lighting: Not needed as they are nocturnal animals and will be mostly active at night. If you wish to observe him or her at night buy a blue or red bulb and fixture. They usually cost around $20 for the fixture and maybe 5-8$ for the bulb

Hides: You'll need 3. One on the cool side, one on the hot side, and a moist hide you can make yourselfhttp://www.reptilerooms.com/index.php?ca... Costs about maybe $20

Food weekly(includes gutload) Crickets or other prey aren't too bad. You're probanly gonna pay maybe $20 initially for gutload and crickets byt weekly after that around $10

Supplements: Around $5-$10 dollars for calcium supplement and multi vitamin supplement.

Substrate: No sand!!!! Can cause impaction in leos of any age if ingested. BEST to stick with paper towel, reptile carpet, tile,or newspaper. Repti carpet is around $10 dollars and its reusable which is a big plus. Best to get 2 since you can wash the other one while using the other.

Water Dish/Food Dish: Around 5-10$ Make sure there is water in a shallow dish at all times.

Thermometer and Hygrometer and or temperature probe. You can by the combo pack with the thermometer and hygrometer for like $10 at petco or you can pay $30+ for a fancy probe that does both with really good accuracy.

I think thats everything. If anything need explaining please don't hesitate to contact me. :) I hope this helps
