I have some questions about setting up a sound sytem in my room.?

I would like to put up a few small speakers up in my room, but if possible i found a small sub(http://www.123dj.com/speakers/gemsound/st1.html) and I was wondering how i could set up the sub with a few small speakers to play off of a cd player or mp3 player or computer. I need to find out which cables i need to connect the sub with the computer or with an amp, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

you picked out a tweeter,you'll only get high notes from it. there are packaged systems  that will do what you want to do. here are two that you hook up to you PC and has a connector for your mp3 player also
