  1. It doesn't release dangerous chemicals, and, although there are chemicals released in the manufacturing process, like Mike already said "as long as they are properly regulated".shouldn't be a problem. Depending on were you live, I would be more concerned with how is my electricity generated? Coal fired plants are not good, nuke energy is not good- thermally warms the water with the release of their coolant tanks.Hydro electric damns the rivers. wind and solar are the viable answers

Think about renting your solar-There is no equipment for you to buy, no installation cost, and no maintenance fees.

Instead, citizenre provides you with a complete solar energy system, you produce your own power, and you simply pay a flat monthly rental for the equipment. A small security deposit is required, but you get that back at the end of your rental contract.

You can rent for one year, five years or 25 years, but over 80% go for the 25-year deal because the shorter contracts readjust up to reflect the normal power rates in your area at the end of the contract. http://renu.citizenre.com/

  2. We installed solar energy panels to heat the water about five years ago.  As far as I know it does not contain any dangerous chemicals.

  3. During operation, a solar electric system emits no chemical emissions into the air.   However, manufacturing solar panels involves hazardous materials.  As long as the manufacturers are properly regulated, there will be no harmful effects.  But notice I say "as long as they are properly regulated".

  4. Dear lady Rachael, and company....

All things considered,  there are many people who would

'go green' in the solar way if only the higher costs  could

be lowered...Under governmental auspices, we may see

improvements and incentives after the coming elections

are over and sanity returns once again to the American

    thought processes re: conservative conservation...

  5. It is very safe for the environment and is does not release dangerous chemicals into the air. check out this web site. hope it helps.
