I have some questions about the UPS JobTour, for a package handler?

What do I expect at the UPS Tour of the facility, session and interview. Is all this in the same day or do they give you the tour and then have you come back for the session and interview.. and one more thing am I the only one going to be there or is there going to be more applicants there too thanks.

This is done all in one day. The HR rep gives you a form to fill out, a questionaire, to get an idea of your schedule, etc. Then you go for a walk through the building to see the different types of jobs such as loader, unloader, pick off and sorter. Then you will go back to the office and have an interview. You are asked to look at the facility and see if you can handle the job. They want you to know that it is hard work, hot in summer, cold in winter, etc. They ask if you can lift 70 pounds but they do not have you do it. I was in a tour with about 20 other people and about half left half way through because they decided they could not handle it. If you are willing to do this job you can do it. The benefits are great and some of the UPS facilities offer tuition reimbursment.
