I looked up some stuff on the net and it says if they can't be cleaned simply delete them.

But the infected files are things like system32 Rundll32 and windows.

if i delete them does it just delete the virus or the whole program.

what should i do.

i have vista on a toshiba satellite.

once i was on da net and my whole screen went blue and had a bunch of white writing on it saying that its gunna automatically shut down coz some important files are trying to be accessed or something.

  1. when you get that blue screen its because your PC crashed. usually it happens if you have a problem with one of your drivers. If they are not digitally signed or you dont have install the right one for a certain device it will cause ur PC to stop responding like that.

  2. DON'T LISTEN TO THAT GUY! (except for the p**n part) Limewire has tons of viruses.

if you delete those files you mentioned, your computer will be unusable, you wont be able to load windows at all.

go to http://shop.symantecstore.com/servlet/Co... and download the norton antivirus trial, and run it. it should detect the virus and repair or delete it. if it doesn't then you should take your computer to a repair shop or something. or you could try to reinstall windows if you have the cd, and are pretty good with computers.

  3. start your computer in safe mode with networking by tapping the F8 key when the computer is booting up....disable or uninstall any anti virus program you have from the control panel..add/remove programs..download the free home version of avast from www.avast.com and run a boot time scan which is part of the set up....it will remove that virus and maybe even find a few others...it also has excellent resident protection to help prevent you from getting anymore...cheers

  4. Why don't you download a free antivirus program like AVG, Avira, Avast, or BitDefender?

  5. It is best not to delete the whole thing, as it might cause further problem for your pc.

I have AVG anti-virus software, and i'm doing fine surfing the internet. It is a free software, you get it from www.download.com, and search for AVG. This way you at least have basic protection against virus. I've attached the website.

The second option is to use one of the online anti-virus website. It is different from AVG because the anti-virus software is not installed on your computer. The website itself basically scans your pc. When it finish scanning (sometimes take up to 1 hour and half), it ask u to choose the method (fix or delete) to deal with the infection. I have attached the website for Trendmicro housecall below. Trendmicro is a very big and trustworthy internet security company.

The third option is the best option. Thanksgiving is always on Thursday. The Friday after Thanksgiving, all the store have huge sales. Sometimes you can get good anti-virus software like Mcafee and Norton (don't like norton very much, big program, slow down your pc) for as low as $10. One year, I got Mcafee for 5 bucks.

  6. p**n will do that to you i suggest limewire most the time it virus free!
