  1. No matter how good you think you are or how good others tell you you are, take classes, train hard, work hard and don't stop. That's the first thing.

If there are not so many acting/singing classes where you are, you need to meet with your parents and figure out what you are going to do about it, because it will be difficult to develop your talent if you don't train.

Also, do some research before you go to one of those cities you mentioned so that you can be ready and get the most out of the trip. It doesn't necessarily have to be that you actually get work, but you could set things up, learn as much as you can and start preparing for when you go back.

On my site for new and aspiring actors there is a guide to New York that I put together for actors who want to go and study and or work there. It's based on 8 things that range from planning your trip, budgeting and how much things might cost you, getting around, finding a place to stay, keeping in touch with the folks back home and setting your goals so that you make sure you get the most out of the trip.

Before you go to any one of those cities you mentioned, my recommendation would be to find out all that information BEFORE you go.

    Good luck!

    Tony
