My dad's friend moved into my dad's apartment that my mom pays for. I have my own home. But my mom's business that I run supports my father. Well his friend moved in, has no money, and we have to support him. We cannot let him starve.

Anyway he said he can't leave until he has a plane ticket and $500-$800.

What to do?

He put out a couple job applications but no one called.

  1. Buy him the plane ticket so he will leave. In my eyes thats a good investment if it means gettng rid of someone that is unwanted.

  2. If he doesn't live in Sri Lanka, he can take a bus, just buy him a bag of peanuts. Most bus tickets cost under $100 or a city bus can take him to the homeless shelter. It sounds like he was not invited and temp agencies can hire him on the spot if he's really interested in work. He sounds like he's taking you all for suckers.

  3. Tell him to start paying rent or you can get a court order to have him removed.

  4. What a bum. Call the police and say you found this guy sleeping on your couch and he is demanding a plane ticket and 800 dollars in cash. That should do the trick!!!

  5. no one call because he isn't qualified or has a S****y record. Also who let this guy move in the first place. Your dad? If your dad can't or won't move him out then get your mother to. This is ridiculous. First off never let anyone move in with no money even friends. Why is  your dad's friend such a loser. Your dad should cut ties with people like that. Where does he need to go to? Why does he need a plane ticket? Why doesn't his family help his sorry ***? Tell him he needs to get out in 2 or 3 days or a week and stick with it and be firm. Give him whatever you can and feel comfortable with and don't feel guilty. He already is lucky to be staying there for all that time he should be thankful. If worst comes to worst he needs to be physically removed by the police. Take his stuff outside and call the poilce if he won't leave and he will have no chance but to leave or be arrested. Stop being too nice to this guy. Do you think this guy would do the same thing for you if you were in his situation? I don't think so.

  6. better to arrange a plane ticket and the amount.

What you are loosing slowly, better to loose at a time and be worry free/

    Good luck
