I lost a tooth a little while ago and ever sense then the tooth next to it was hurting. It doesn't hurt, but now there is a bump above the tooth that hurt. Does anyone know what is it? Is it something to worry about? Or just let it go away?

  1. It's possibly an abscess, which is basically a blister filled with puss. The infection can spread to the rest of your mouth, or to the bone in your jaw. You really need to go see a dentist ASAP! Good luck and I hope this helps.

  2. It's hard to answer based on your description.  I'm guessing either an abscess or a root fragment.  Just go see your dentist.
