I have sony multiregional dvd player,owing this can play discs from the states.?

someone told me that some televisions are NTL this is something todo with the signal and the picture could turn red when playing the disc

no your dvd will play fine. you are thinking of NTSC and PAL. PAL is UK and NTSC is america. And it would turn black and white and a smaller picture. your dvd will work with any dvd.

if it is real multiregion it will play all disk regardless of the region. I have a multiregion Sony DVD player to and can play all disk. try  it should work. good luck
