Question:

I have spots on my arms, help!?

there are lots of little spots on my arms. they started around the shoulder area, and are spreading down my arm. ive been told lots of thinks, e.g. eating too much chocolate, a form of eczema, ect.

if anyone can help, it would be a real bonus!

  1. Is it heat bumps? Or have you been using baby oil or anything that contains paraffin? As those things can block your pores because they put a layer on your skin. Wash with a shower gel, as that will strip your skin of the oils, or have a bath with tea tree oil, as that kills germs.


  2. my sister has that, she went to the doctor i think and he gave her some stuff called oxytetracycline (i have a good memory lol) but theyre still there :/

  3. Has this only come on recently? If so see your GP as soon as you can, it could be an allergy.

    If it's been going on for a long time, say months or years, it could be something else; a lot of people have something called Keratosis Pilaris, which looks like lots of tiny spots, mainly on the extensor regions of the body such as the backs of the arms, the thighs etc.

    Try to moisturise the skin regularly with a moisturing lotion containing Vitamin E and possibly apply Aloe Vera if the skin is very dry, this should help soothe the area.
