What should i say, will i keep it short and sweet and just explain where i have come from and a bit about myself?

  1. Yes, short and to the point.  Just a quick bit about yourself and your experience and maybe something about your excitement to be working at that company and looking forward to many years of success.  

    I don't understand why you are introducing yourself to the company (AFTER) you got the job though...care to explain?

    Oh, ok, so they won't necesarily be your bosses...just co workers in other departments....that sort of thing?

    Yeah, I still say pretty simple and to the point, but friendly!

    You don't want to bore them and you don't want to sound like you are tooting your own horn.  They probably don't want you to spend too much company time on it, nor do they want the others to spend too much company time reading it.

Hi My name's????  i'm from city, State.  Today's my first day at???? and i'mm really excited to getting to know and work with everyone.  I know it's a big challenge but i'm up to it.  Feel free to stop by my cubicle to say hi.  if you have any candies and  snacks, please bring them for me since i'm always hungry and too shy to steal on my first day.   in addition, i can assure you that i can eat and work at the same time
