I have state championships for track on friday for the 100m dash. what should i eat for this week and drink?

  2. i usually load up on carbs the night before =] thats what im planning on doing for states!

  3. Keep doing your workout regiment, when i went off to state in the 4x400 relay our coach put us through special training which pushed us past our limits, im not sure what your coach is doing but do this...

    -Stretch everyday

    -Carbo load starting NOW! [like pasta, veggies, bread in moderation just enough to get you satisfied]

    -Go to sleep before 9-10pm [you'll have more saved energy]

    Do this and imagine yourself winning, whatever the mind can concieve, You will achieve

  4. It will make no difference. Carbo loading is only for really long distance events, like the marathon

    just stretch alot, that can actually make a difference

  5. just eat what you normally eat . . . did you go on a "track diet" before the meet(s) that qualified you for the states??? . . . just make sure you're hydrated ~ no water = cramps/muscle pulls

    . . . if you're the nervous sort, avoid foods with high acidic content which could be made worse by a case of the nerves (excess stomach acid) . . . otherwise,  just eat normally and good luck
