  1. the only thing that you could do is to put everything in a pile ,sort out the things that you don't need anymore and either give them away or store them in the basement or in the attic in totes , keep your room tidy and clean this way it will feel larger and you  will be able to breath.

Take a look at this for instance ,small and yet neat!

  2. How you arrange your furniture will make your room appear larger than it is. Maybe you can arrange your furniture in an L formation, meaning, place the furniture along the outside walls so that you'll have plenty of floor space to walk on. Experiment with it until you are pleased with a more spacious look. The less furniture in your bedroom, the bigger the room will look, so get rid of unnecessary pieces. If you have a closet, keep it well organized by using stackable  storage bins. They also sell storage bins that are slender & can fit under the bed, if that would be something you'd need. Paint the walls a light color if they aren't already. Using an offwhite or light beige color, will also make your room look spacious. Ditto for your curtains, bedspread, rugs, etc. Avoid wall hangings all over your walls, as that will gobble up space as well. Get rid of unwanted clutter in your room.  When you have your room as you like, keep your room picked up daily. It'll look bigger not to mention, neater.

  3. A room of any size with too much junk in it seems too small and is harder to clean. Get rid of some stuff, clean it up and you will like it better.

  4. I really hate to say this but you sound a little bit childish. At least you have a room to yourself, who cares what size it is. Refusing to tidy it because its not big enough for you is a little bit silly, don't you think?

  5. Build yourself a mansion in your dreams, not much else you can do.

  6. um...small rooms suck, but what sucks more, is a stubborn daughter not wanting to clean it...

just get creative...some of the best things/rooms/presents/houses come in small packages...perhaps add some shelves close to the ceiling, so that you have space to store CD's, books, Jonas Brothers' dolls and stuff, that'll clear away some of the stuff from off the floor and then organize things and put them in a storage container and slide em under your bed...make the theme of your room simple...

and be happy that you have your own room, some people have to share theirs...
