I have supper bad allergies what can do or take to help them??

This is the first time i have realy bad allergies so what can i do or take to make them go away

I have a doctors appointment tomarow after school also

Assuming you're a kid (....after school.....), you want to be careful with what you take because very young kids shouldn't take adult portions of medicines.

But otherwise, do NOT be afraid of taking someting over the counter, like Claritan.  I suffered for years with allergies, and always heard people say that taking allergy pills, you only treat the symptom and not the problem.  yeah, but taking that allergy pill sure made it easier when I didn't have to sneeze and have runny nose all the time!!

Allergy pills can help you feel better, until the allergy goes away.

But then the problem can be waht is giving you the allergy, which is what the doc can help you with.  Sometimes pets or animals are a bad problem, and yes, you can grow into allergies.  Otherwise, pollen or juniper is very bad in my area.

One reason you get allergies is your body can't fight off what's affecting you.  Do you take vitamins?  I take lots, and it helps to lessen the attack, because your body is stronger, your immune is better to deal with it.  Also drinking lots of soda pop can weaken your immune.  I used to drink nothig but Pepsi all day, and I had allergies all the time.  But I've given it up,and now I hardly have any sniffles.

Lottsa sugar isn't good for your body, so if you're eating tons of candy, etc, then cut back so your allergies will get easier.

get on some medicine from your dr and go to an ent or allergiest and start allergy shots

Take Claritin or Alevert(sp?) I also have bad allergies, and claritin is the only thing that helps me. Talk to ur doctor about getting allergy shots. I take them once a week, and it makes them better.
