I have surround sound but sometimes the sound will go in and out. Can someone help me?

Also, some times when I change the channel the sound goes away.

  1. this is probably a result of bad connections between the reciever and the speakers, try reconneting them.  If your reciever is on the older side, it could just be going bad.
