I have swelling inside my mouth on the lip part on the lower right hand side..I have no Dieases...what is this

I need help....why would I wake up with a swalling in my lip.....then I had black p**p....why would that happen.....

I was sick so I took peptobismol and black doo doo came in 4 days

The black is probably just stomach acid because that happened to my friend one time and the lip thing is probably is probably just a small infection. They will both go away in a couple days of days.

Your body could be cleansing itself.

Where exactly is the swelling inside or outside of the lip.

If it's inside, eat yogurt, but before you swallow it hold it in place where the swelling is. As the enzymes will heal it. As you could of poke the inside with something while eating, or bit it in your sleep or have an allergy to something.  Sometimes the swelling can show up on the inside from something that got you on the outside of the mouth.

If it's on the outside, It could be that you were bitten by something. Have a bad reaction to a cleanser or food that the juices got on your skin.

As for taking the pepto bismal, your could of had a blockage that had to be cleaned out. Sometimes it takes a few days before it gives the full effects of what it is meant to do.   The question is what kind of sickness did you have that you had to take it.

What you may need to do is drink more water to smooth things along, Like warm water in the mornings, just a small cup before you eat. Just luke warm not hot. It helps to get things softened up for you. Then eat more fresh fruits to help cleanse your skin.
