  1. My guess would be that the connecting plug in your Nissan is different to the other cars and you possibly need an adapter.

Thhis is quite common, as different manufacturers use a different pin set up in their plugs.

Halfords will sell the adapter you may need.

  2. Can you be more specific? I think I understand what you mean, but it sounds very strange. Are you actually saying that the actual fascia panel on the radio doesn't work?

  3. The first one is right - you have to buy a connector adaptor from Halfords.  I used to own a Micra and bought a new stereo, but then had to shell out about £15 for the adaptor.

I then found out that as the car had only one speaker in the passenger footwell, the sound wasn't so hot so I would have needed to buy and have fitted new speakers.  Not so much of a bargain after all!!

  4. sounds like you need more juice. check the fuse attached to the positive wire on your radio. if its smaller than .5ah change it to a 5ah fuse. if it still wont work then run a wire from the positive battery terminal of your batt to your radio.

that happened when we installed a jvc touch screen in my friends nissan safari. after we changed out the fuses we were good to go.
