I have taken pregnancy tests for four consecutive days now and the line is faint but its definitely there?

My period is 10 days late and i have very sensitive b*****s. What worries me that i'm not pregnant is because the positive line is faint, would that be case if i was about to have a period or could it be that there's too little of the hormone in me yet for it to be darker?

I tested 3 days in a row then left a week gap and  it was really pale the first time, getting darker  after the first gap and after the second gap it was definetly dark!

If there is any line at all then you're pregnant. I just found out that I'm pregnant 2 months ago and I took a dollar store test first and it showed no line. When I took the First response test the next day, the line was definitely there! Just out of curiosity, I took another dollar store test and, again, the line didn't show up at all. I was 3 days past my missed period.

I would suggest that you buy a First Response test (comes in a pink box). It is more sensitive and picks up on the hcg hormone even at lower levels.

if it's faint, you're pregnant. mine was faint too it didn't look like a plus sign it kinda looked like a division sign. try a different test or different brand.

All test are different. Read the instructions. But with every one I have ever seen if the line is there (light or dark) your pregnant. Now you should consult a doctor.

Being 10 days late it should be showing a really dark line but not in every case.  You may be drinking too much before doing the test, I suggest that you do one more and use your first morning urine, this will have the most concentrated amount of the hcg hormone.

If the line is there although faint it does mean that you are pregnant.  But you are obviously worried about the test not getting any darker.  In that case you can go to the drs and explain what hs been happening and request an hcg blood test, this is done twice over a couple of days to check that the amount is doubling.  If the amount is doubling that is a good sign of a thriving pregnancy if it does not it may indicate a miscarriage.

Sending loads of baby dust to make sure that baby stays where it should!!!!!!!

mine was faint for a while...and you wouldnt normally get a faint positive if your period was starting, mine was pretty dark about 7 days after missed period...but thr hormone increases every 2 days....check with doc who can do bloods

Usually there is a test indicator on the test to tell you if the test worked ok. If it did then you are probably pregnant, even if it is a faint line.

I did 4 tests and three of them came back negative. I was over 10days late when I got my positive and I had given up hope by then! Hang in there and perhaps do another in a few days or see your GP.

the thing is you are either pregnant or your not. and a faint line is a line. however---there are reasons those tests can give false positives and i don't know what all the reasons are. a good idea is to try some different brands--see if you get more conclusive results. but the best thing to do is go to planned parenthood or a free clinic, or your doctor and ask them to give you a pregnancy test, they can tell you for sure, better than the store bought tests.

you will just need to wait a feqw days for a darker line when the hormones start getting higher!

You probably are pregnant. My friend is expecting a baby and both lines were faint on her tests.  Do you have any other symptoms, ie. nausea?  See your doctor straight away.

When i did my hpt the positive line was very faint. Over a week I did more test and they all had a faint second line.

As I had other signs off early pregnancy like sore swollen b*****s, lower back pain, headache I took this as good news.

Today though I have started to bleed so I take it I am having a very early mc.

Well it sounds like a CONGRATULATIONS!!!! to me, even a faint positive is a positive, if u are worried then test at the beginnin of next week to be sure but im quite sure that u are pregnant!!!!

A line is a line... doesn't matter how faint the line is. and plus you have taken 4 pregnancy test and they all come out the same... so congratulations!!! I bet if you take another pregnancy in a couple of days... both lines will be dark!!!

Hi, i think it's "congratulations" same thing happened me with both my pregnancy's ,i don't think it matters about what shade the line is as long as its there,get a test done by your gp if your still unsure, good luck!

It always says on the test that you can get a false negative but not a false positive, it is probably faint because it is very early days and you haven't got as strong pregnancy hormones yet. As everyone else is saying you should probably go to the doctors to make sure, but I would have thought that congratulations are in order!

Dosent matter how faint line you are pregnant a pregnancy test will never give you a false possitive,  Thats what the dr told me when i was pregnant.
