Question:

I have terrible pain in my quadriceps!?

I started weight lifting for school yesterday. The first thing I had to do was lunges with ten pound weights in each hand. After the first set of three, I could hardly keep my balance, but the throbbing was tolerable. Today, I can't walk up or down stairs without the pain spiking, which poses a problem considering my school has two levels and lots of stairs.

Why am I having this pain? How can I manage it?

Any advice would be great.

  1. This nothing to worry about , you are having the pain because your muscles aren't use to this type of exercises . You will have it for  a few days and may be a week , but you must  excercise every two days at the most 4 times a week . After the muscles are use to it you will not feel the pain . You feeling the pain because you are reshaping the mucle to take another shape .
