  1. I would say that at the very least you should get one RB in the 12-13 picks.  Chances are since you will miss out on Brady and Moss, you will get two RBs.

  2. 1. Look up and understand your scoring system.  Know if the league rewards points per reception, rewards return yards, etc.  Understanding the scoring system will tell you which players should be considered premium.

    2. Use cheatsheets.  I use footballguys.com's Draft Dominator, but even the Yahoo Draft kit that comes with StatTracker is decent.  Do your research up front.

I try to enter a draft with a plan, but alter it based on value.  If a player slides to me, I'll alter course as needed.

Here are some players ranked around #12 that you may consider, in standard format scoring:

    #11 Tom Brady

    #12 Willis McGahee

    #13 Reggie Wayne

    #14 Marshawn Lynch

    #15 Ryan Grant

    #16 Terrell Owens

    #17 Maurice Jones-Drew

    #18 Peyton Manning

I still believe in the mantra that running backs bring titles, but that is only because the QB position in fantasy is deep.  If Tom Brady is there at #12 (unlikely), I take him, then a running back.

Last, weigh risk and reward.  I usually take risks later in the draft, and go for solid, proven, durable players with my first 4 picks.

  3. 12th Pick - Brady or Peyton (Either Pick would be a good one); QB

13th Pick - Grant, Lynch or Maroney RB
