I won last year going running back, but all my stud backs struggled and my qb's and receivers carried me. Is it wise to draft a qb/wr tandum(brady/moss or romo/owens) early or stick with backs?

  1. um im a dallas fan but if i say romo/owens im just saying that bc im a fan

go with brady/moss it will be better

    dallas haters suck

  2. The problem with going QB/WR is that is you draft Brady at #4 it's unlikely that Moss will be there at #16. Assuming LT, Peterson, Jackson go 1-3 you have your pick of Addai, Westbrook, or Barber which aren't bad backs to build your team around.

Assuming you pick one of them you can go for your QB at 16  (Romo or P. Manning should still be on the board then) and grab your WR at 24, then pick up a lesser back (K. Smith, Forte, or a promising rookie) with your next pick.

This gives you a strong #1 back, a strong QB, and a strong WR. If you draft wisely around these players you should be in a position to repeat this year. Good luck.

  3. Go with a running back. There are only a small handful of stud running backs and you can definitely get one at pick 4. There’s always an injury risk, but that’s the case with every position. It is very unlikely that you’ll be able to get Moss and Brady, because they’ll both go in the first round. You maybe able to score Romo and Owens, but neither are worth taking in the 1st, so the only way its worth it is if you get Owens in the 2nd and Romo in the 3rd. Go RB.

  4. 4th is a tough spot.  I usually go with the getting the best RBs and WRs I can in the first 3 rounds.  There will always be several decent (now you may not get the top dogs) QBs left starting in round 4.  Good RBs and WRs will consistently get you more points week in and week out.

  5. I don't think with the 4th pick you can get Brady and moss. You might be able to get Brady and Owens, but thats not definate. The running back to pick with your pick would ovbiously be if westbrook, LT, or AP available. But if they went 1,2,3 I would take Joseph Addai. He was on my team last year and we went undefeated. But also with the help of Brady, Fitzgerald, James etc. Yeah I made some pretty wise picks last year. Stick with backs. Addai or Romo with owens.

  6. I'd Go QB.  you could pick up Brady at 4 and although Moss would be gone Welker would be a great pick with the second.  That would leave RB's for later picks and you could get some potential sleepers.  Fill your bench with handcuff RB's and one will be a good starter before too long.

  7. That depends on the scoring system being used.

  8. Well your picking early so you have to go with a Running Back.If you were between 6-10 then a QB or WR would be a good pick since you can get your back the very next pick.If you pick a back it has to be a sure pick, Brian Westbrook and Frank Gore could be those guys for you.A break out WR will be there in the 3rd and 4th round so you could even go back to back and have 2 explosive combo.

  9. you still should go with a rb first. in the second round, if a moss or TO or someone like that is there, thats a good pick. i'm guessing only 1, maybe 2 qb's will be gone in the first 2 rounds. you can get a great qb in the 3rd or 4th. stock up on those backs and receivers then shoot for a qb. after the top 5 are gone though, it could be a pretty big dropoff. you want to get a brees, romo, or palmer somewhere in the 3rd or 4th.
