I have the Sony Handy DCR HC20, and I need help transferring the data on to my computer?

I don't have the original installation CD that came with it, and I downloaded the driver software, but it won't read it for some reason. I have it connected via a USB cable.

(I'm using Windows XP)

Check out why your system could not read your handycam. Maybe you plugged it on the USB 1 and your Handycam support USB 2.0 (High Speed). Or maybe the windows can read it only on a video editor program. Check it with a video editor that can capture video from a camcorder.
