I got the blackberry curve purely for messaging purposes but cant afford the data plan right now. is there anyway to block the internet so i dont accidently access it?

  1. ATT wants you to accidentally use it so they can charge you by the megabytes used.  Be very careful of that.


  2. yes. call customer service and have them put a temporaty hold on your internet access. its free and you can remove whenever you like. call 611

  3. I had the same problem, but text messaging runs through the same system as the internet does, so it kinda screws it up.

    Just go to the web browser, media mall, and allt he buy applications c**p and hide them. this way, you won't accidentally hit any of them and run up a huge phone bill.

  4. All you have to do is call att and request a block for the internet and that way you won't have it to use accidentally or otherwise. When you later find a need to use it just contact att and advise them and they will remove the block......
