I have the blackberry pearl version 8100 and i need help!?

i have a black berry pearl version 8100 ( i think the old version) i read online that the older versions can record voice notes and then send them in MMS text messages. can someone tell me how to do that? because i have no idea. i need to record some music and send it to my buddy because he needs it. thanks! try to help meeee???? oh and i need to know how to take videos on this version too. if you dont know that then its okay just the first part of my question is the most important. thank you <3

Also, the 4.5.0 operating system has been released for the 8100 series of devices. The 4.5.0 operating system includes a voice recording application, where you can save voice notes to your media card, or send them via e-mail or MMS.

You cant take videos.

And for the other part of your question, let me try and help you. I had the blackberry 8100 from Jan 01 2007 to Jan 01 2008 so it&#039;s been a while...

Press the menu key (looks like a flower, or a &quot;berry&quot; and is located to the left of the pearl ball).

Scroll until you see an icon called &quot;voice note&quot;. It is usually near the end of the list. If you cant find it, see instructions below*.

Here you can record your voice note.

Once you are done, press the berry button and (i think) you can choose &quot;send&quot; or &quot;send as MMS&quot;.

Now enter the cell phone number of your friend and away you go.

*While in the main menu, with all the icons listed, press the berry button and select &quot;show all&quot; - now all your icons will be showing. There are usually a few icons that are automatically hiding - and this will expose them until you choose to hide them again. The hidden icons are shown in grey.
