I have the camcorder

Question

I have the camcorder Sony DCR-TRV25E. Last Friday I was at the ocean and made home video on the beach. I was not close to water, but the breeze blew from the ocean and air was very moist. In the evening I tried to make video again, but the screen of the camcorder (camera on) remained black, though the player in the camcorder works well. My camcorder was in the dry home several days, but it is not working.
