I have the digital converter boxes for my tvs. I hooked one up & got snowy picture.?

Will they not work until next February? or did I do something wrong.

Hmm, doesn't sound right. Make sure the TV source input (RF channel 3/4 or video in) is the same as the output from the decoder box.

A snowy picture is the one thing you should not get from a converter. Do you see the converter's menus? What model converter is it?

Best guess is that you just have it set up wrong.

Double check:

1.

If using the RF output, try both channels 3 & 4 on the TV.

2.

Check to see that the antenna is connected to the converter's antenna input and not the output.

3.

If using the composite cables, double check the color coding on the (yellow coded) video cable

It's also possible that the converter or cable between the converter and TV is defective.
