. I have the same model Maytag Washer....MAV2755AWW and the exact same problem???? Any answers??Ref: During the washing cycle when the agitator is twisting the inner tubkeeps moving making a rubbing noise. I have tried moving the outter tubas well as the clothes in the washer to make sure it is not off balance but nothing is working
