I have the first overall draft pick for the NHL season who should my first pick be? Crosby or Ovetkchin?

Pick Crosby. He is a beast and will be around the lead in points. If you want Ovechkin, it would be for goals. Good luck!

I think that though Crosby is AMAZING, I would go with Overcharging as he is still on a team where he is the primary star and has to bear the weight of the entire team on his shoulders more so that Crosby. The Pen's team has numerous stars, and young stars at that. Either pick will undoubtedly put up some impressive numbers.

Personally, I would go with Alexander Ovechkin if you want to get more points overall. The guy is a beast, and not that I'm taking anything away from Crosby but Ovechkin is much better than him. Crosby just has more talent on his team to work with, which helps him get more numbers. But, look at how Ovechkin carried his team to the playoffs last year! Overall, if your looking for a guy to add points to your team, go with Ovechkin he will get you points in day in, and day out! Here are some things to keep in mind!

Ovechkin (2007): 65 goals, 47 assists, and 112 total points.

Crosby (2007): 24 goals, 48 assists, and 72 total points.
