The Nerazzurri boss is confident that he will not be dismissed as La Beneamata manager despite the awful run of form.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan head-coach, Claudio Ranieri, has affirmed that the club management is behind him and has fully extended its support to him.
The Nerazzurri have had a shocking streak of results, having lost a string of matches in the recent past. They crashed out of the Coppa Italia against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 before suffering a 4-0 humiliation against AS Roma last weekend.
The latest catastrophe to hit Inter was the defeat against Novara at San Siro on Sunday, February 12th. Ranieri’s men suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the bottom-placed side, who had not won a single Serie A game
on their travels in 56 years.
After the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 defeat, Inter Milan President, Massimo Moratti, urged his team to “show their value” and prove that they deserve to be in the side. However, they are still struggling to get back to winning ways. Hence, speculation
has continued to gain momentum on Ranieri’s future at San Siro after consecutive defeats.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 boss was speaking to RAI Sport about the club’s backing and said:
"The club and [president Massimo] Moratti are behind me 100 per cent. We have an excellent communication and I completely feel their support.”
While reflecting on the result against Novara, Ranieri was of the opinion that his side was proactive and created a lot of attacking opportunities. However, their inability to finish off those chances resulted in their downfall.
He further commented:
"We tried to score during the game in a thousand different ways. We had to change our tactics during the game and put three men in midfield, instead of four, which is very different."
Another reason that the rumour mills have picked up pace is due to the resignation of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello. This coupled with Inter’s recent results is only adding fuel to the fire.
Claudio Ranieri took over the reigns as Inter coach in September, after Gian Piero Gasperini was given the sack.
