I have the latest Nokia E-71. Pls guide me in accessing MSN and yahoo messenger?

There is an inbuilt IM. It is asking for the following:

Server name

Web address

ID

Password

What should I enter in these? I have Fring but I am unable to use it. I would prefer using the inbuilt IM.

ummm dont knw abt inbuilt, but try using nimbuzz, its free have almost all messengers, n also free calling on nimbuzz users, do give it a try.

That IM client uses the IMPS protocol and you need to find a free server providing such service or maybe one provided by your network.

For MSN (and Yahoo, since now they are interworking) use Windows Live for Symbian OS, a free application provided by Nokia and Microsoft.

I guess, you should have WiFi setting done when you try to use online services. As without internet connection, you will not be able to browse any websites or any messengers. I suggest please check this with your nearby local mobile dealer or try to get help from your service providers. One of them will really help you in this. Thanks.
