I have the license number of the car who stole my ipod, but how do i report and handle it?

okay, so i was walking home and all of a sudden this girl that's bare feet around the age of 20 gets out of a car and asks me the time.

so, with no clue, i looked at my ipod to tell her the time.

then, she sord of pushes me and scratches my hand and steals it.

she then leaves off in her car.

and i'm guessing someone was in the driver seat waiting for her to come in the car with my ipod.

so right after, i wrote down the license plate number.

what can i do about this?

how do i report this to the police?

will they do anything about it?

can i get an ipod back? since it was stolen...

yes, so basically i was street jacked. geeesh. sucks.

call the police give them the description of the ipod tell u have the license plate number and they should handle it from there.....my dad is a marshall

Call the police and tell them what you just wrote here. they will send someone out or have you come in and make a statement.

Go to the police department. I think they can find out where they live because the plates tie with a street address.
