I have the new generation iPod nano (w/ video). I want to put TV shows on it from my DVR. How do I do that?

We have Armstrong Cable, and our plan comes with DVR. I have lots of shows in there that I haven't watched yet, and I want to put them on my iPod. Is there a way to do that?

The way I do it is pretty complicated. But, I have something that allows you to connect your Cable Box to your computer (or your VCR) and it has software so that you can capture it. Then get an iPod video converter from download.com. Then put it on your iTunes and sync it onto your iPod.

iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one.
