there is 12 teams in this league and I really hate #9 assuming the teams in front of me would take the ussual picks what would you do at 9

  1. At number 9 you have 3 options, RB, QB, or WR:

I would probably only consider WR if Moss is available.  He'll probably be gone at this point, but if he isn't, he would be a solid pick here.  You could consider reaching on T.O., but I wouldn't advise it.  See below for other WRs that could work here.

There are two QBs that in my opinion make sense at the 9 spot.  Tom Brady.  Again, he probably won't make it to you at 9, but who knows?  If he doesn't, I also really like Tony Romo  here.  Some might tell you Peyton Manning, but let someone else pay for the name value in round 1.  He won't put up better numbers than Romo this year.  See below for one other QB that would work here.

If none of these guys make it to your pick here are some RBs you can expect to have a crack at at pick 9 listed in order of preference:

Joseph Addai - a long shot to fall to you at 9, but I snagged him at 8 yesterday so you never know

Steven Jackson - same as above

Clinton Portis - More realistic than the first two.  He'll be a workhorse this year.

Marshawn Lynch - Another workhorse who will get the majority of the carries in Buffalo and will be leaned on heavily

Larry Johnson - I like him the least here.  But still a workhorse and he'll see almost all the carries in KC if he can stay healthy.

If none of these guys are available take the best QB or WR left.  Drew Brees is another good QB, and T.O., Reggie Wayne, and Marques Colston are all top notch WRs.

    Good luck!

  2. You will more then likely have your choice of a few players like.....

    Marion Barber

    Clinton Portis

    Randy Moss

    Marshawn Lynch

    Larry Johnson

I think Barber might be gone but any of those other players would be good selections for you.

  3. If your draft unfolds anything like mine then you should be fairly content with either

    Romo

    Terrel Owens

    Larry Johnson

Personally, i like Larry Johnson here because after him the good RBs start to thin out fast and you'll need one of those for sure.  If you are very lucky you could see Moss still there - grab him obviously.

  4. Take the best RB available, then 6 picks later take the next best RB or you could get a good QB on that next one. Having a later pick is not necessarily a bad thing it depends on how you look at it.
