I have the original ps2 and it keeps saying reading disk.....blinking..what do i do?

Get a cheap one off ebay or buy a brand new slimline one for about £90.

Clean the disk off and try blow out the dust inside of the ps2

if the disc is scratched, clean it. If it's not, well the ps2 is getting old. I'd reccomend a ps3. Hopefully it works.

Try cleaning the disc off, it could be dirty which would cause it to be stuck on 'Reading Disc'. Just use a soft, clean cloth and wipe the disc from the outward edges, in towards the middle. If that still doesn't work, try using a Laser Lens Cleaner disc. You can find them at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, or any other store that'd carry CD's or electronics. The discs cost from about $8-$10. The disc will clean the laser lens of your PS2, and will most likely fix the problem.
