I have the tatoo number of my x-racer thoroughbred, and i know the sire and dam, but how do i find her registered name? Thanks!

If you take her number to the Jockey Club you can get her details, but will have to pay for it.

If you know her Sire and Dam and year of birth, you could check here to see if there is any info: http://www.pedigreequery.com/

When you go to the site, click on the "Reports" button along the top of the page and then select "Progeny".  Once you have done this, type the dam's FULL name in the box in the top left hand corner that says "horse".

Then press the "Progeny" button along the top of the page.

The site will then divert you to page which shows all of the known named progeny out of that particular dam.  If you know your horse's sire and year of birth you should be able to find her quite easily.

i looked mine up on the internet. i just typed in his tattoo number and it gave me all his information. then i researched him from there......he had QUITE an impressive race career check him out...........mom of Josh The Manosh a.k.a."Joshey"
