I have a '96 Saturn SW1, the wagon 4 cyl 1.3 lit.
My car ran fine until I added about a half a quart of oil. To start with getting the oil in was a bit of an odd ordeal from normal. as I added it it seemed to be stopped up in the neck of the oil add area just under the cap and it drained into the engine vary slowly, about 3 shots worth at a time and took that almost 60 seconds to drain down at that. Then when I turned over the engine, I got thick white smoke pouring out of the tail pipe. I thought maybe it was a temporary thing but I let it sit for about 2 hours checked and added oil again then drove it around the block didn't seem to change. After I decided to park it for the night, I drove it to it's spot and the smoke had decreased. I am tempted to take it for a longer ride to see if it is just something that needs to burn off but don't want to burn up the engine. Any thoughts??
