sounds like you pulled your groin muscle. have done stretches recently? if so that might be you issue

I had this same issue when I would walk or stand for long periods of time.  I went to the doctor and turns out I have the beginnings of vericose veins.  You might want to check with your doctor to see if that is the case, if so I find that support hose are very helpful and Lasix was prescribed to me to lose some of the water retention.
